Emotions | International Group Exhibition 2026

No. 35 Gallery invites artists worldwide to submit work for Emotion—International Online Group Exhibition 2026. This exhibition explores emotion across contemporary artistic practices, from love, joy, desire, hope, and intimacy to grief, fear, anger, loneliness, anxiety, vulnerability, and complex emotional states that may resist definition. Selected artists will present their work in a curated international online group exhibition hosted on the No. 35 Gallery website, supported by curatorial presentation and promotion through the gallery’s platforms.
Artists are invited to submit works inspired by, responding to, or engaging with human emotion and psychological experience, including personal memories, relationships, identity, loss, belonging, isolation, connection, transformation, nostalgia, conflict, tenderness, uncertainty, desire, resilience, and emotional responses to everyday life and the wider world.
The theme is intentionally broad and welcomes a wide range of approaches, including figurative and abstract work, portraiture, symbolism, expressive colour and gesture, personal narratives, conceptual practices, psychological explorations, experimental image-making, and works that communicate emotion through material, form, atmosphere, or visual language.
We welcome submissions from emerging and established artists working across all visual art mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, textile art, printmaking, drawing, collage, installation documentation, and other contemporary practices.
Through this exhibition, No. 35 Gallery aims to bring together diverse international perspectives on emotion and explore the many ways artists translate internal experiences into visual form.
