No. 35 Gallery is pleased to announce an international Open Call for our Solo Exhibition Programme 2026.


This opportunity is designed for artists seeking a dedicated platform to present a cohesive body of work through a professionally curated online solo exhibition.


We welcome submissions from emerging and established artists working in all visual art mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, textile art, drawing, printmaking, and other contemporary visual practices.


Selected artists will receive a dedicated solo exhibition page on the No. 35 Gallery website, providing an opportunity to showcase their artistic practice to an international audience of collectors, curators, galleries, and art enthusiasts.


Our Solo Exhibition Programme aims to support artists in developing their professional presence and expanding the visibility of their work through a focused and personalised exhibition experience.

Eligibility

Artists from all countries are welcome to apply.

Applications are open to both emerging and established artists working in any visual art medium.

Submission Requirements

Applicants may submit up to 1 artworks from a cohesive body of work.

Artists should provide:

  • Artist Biography

  • Artist Statement

  • Artwork Images

  • Artwork Details (Title, Medium, Dimensions, Year)

Participation Fee

Entry is free.

A participation fee is required only after selection.

Standard Participation Fee: £45

Reduced Participation Fee (£30)

To support women artists from the Middle East and South Asia, selected women artists from the following countries are eligible for a reduced participation fee of £30:

Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cyprus, Egypt, Georgia, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, and Yemen.

Selected artists will receive full participation details and payment instructions in their acceptance email.

What Selected Artists Receive

Selected artists will receive:

  • Participation in a curated international online group exhibition hosted on the No. 35 Gallery website

  • A dedicated online exhibition presentation featuring selected artworks

  • Curatorial selection and structuring of the exhibition

  • Inclusion of the artist's name, artwork details, artist biography, and relevant professional links

  • Social media promotion through the gallery's platforms

  • Inclusion in a professionally designed digital exhibition catalogue featuring the artwork image, artist biography, artist statement, and artwork details

  • A digital Certificate of Participation

  • Continued visibility through the gallery's online exhibition archive for one year

Promotion & Reach

The exhibition and selected artists will be promoted through No. 35 Gallery's platforms:

Instagram: @no.35gallery (10,000 followers, growing)

Website: Approximately 15,000 monthly visitors, with projected growth to 100,000 monthly visitors through ongoing promotion.

Additional promotion may include newsletters, artist features, exhibition announcements, and social media campaigns across the gallery's platforms.

Curatorial Support

Curatorial support includes the following:

  • Selection and structuring of artworks

  • Design and presentation of the online exhibition

  • Consideration of visual relationships between selected works

  • Guidance on artwork presentation where appropriate

  • Development of a cohesive and professionally curated exhibition experience

Selection Criteria

Submissions will be reviewed based on:

  • Artistic quality and technical execution

  • Relevance to the exhibition theme

  • Originality and individual artistic voice

  • Conceptual and visual strength

  • Curatorial compatibility within the exhibition

  • Quality of artwork presentation

The jury seeks a diverse range of artistic approaches, media, cultural perspectives, and interpretations of contemporary urban environments.

Exhibition Details

The exhibition will be presented online through the No. 35 Gallery website.

Selected works will be curated into a dedicated digital exhibition accessible to an international audience.

The exhibition will remain archived on the gallery website for one year following its conclusion, providing continued visibility for participating artists.

Sales & Commission

Artists may choose to make their artworks available for sale through the exhibition.

No. 35 Gallery receives a 30% commission on any sales made through the exhibition.
