In the paintings of this series, nature is the point of departure. For me, however, nature is not simply a subject to be depicted; it is a way of exploring memory, emotion, and lived experience.

The flowers, trees, and landscapes that appear in my paintings originate in an external reality, but through the process of painting in watercolor, they become suspended between reality and imagination, presence and absence. What remains is a trace of what has passed—a fallen leaf, a season that has ended, a moment that is no longer there.

This exhibition is an invitation to pause and contemplate these fleeting moments—moments in which light, color, and life are still present, yet already beginning to fade.
