The Familiar, Transformed

Artist Name

Marzieh Ramazanpour

The exhibition explores the space between the familiar and the unfamiliar, where everyday food and objects of the table move beyond their ordinary identities. Through painting, these forms become organic and ambiguous presences, inviting a renewed encounter with the everyday and encouraging us to look again at what we thought we already knew.

Artist Statement

What is familiar gradually slips away from its name. Everyday food objects leave behind their ordinary roles, becoming ambiguous, living forms that seem to take on a life of their own, inviting us to look again.
